Jakarta – The WhatsApp messaging application has updated some of its features which will be available for Android and iOS users. This update brings a number of improvements including the latest wallpaper features, sticker search, and animated sticker packs.

There are four improvements to the WhatsApp wallpaper feature, namely custom message pages, doodle variants, wallpaper variants from the gallery, and settings to differentiate the wallpapers used in light or dark mode.

That way, users no longer need to worry about sending the wrong message to a different message page. Meanwhile, doodle wallpaper presents doodle designs in various colors.

In this new wallpaper, users can use several iconic photos of natural landscapes and architecture from around the world with new, interesting designs.
This option can be found in the album “Light” and “Dark”, so that users can see the automatic transition of the wallpaper on the message page when the phone settings switch from light to dark mode, or vice versa.
Custom wallpaper features on Android devices can be set by pressing the menu with the symbol “three dots”, then select Wallpaper. After that, users can browse and select the desired wallpaper.
Whereas on iOS devices, users can access Chat Info or Group Info, then select Wallpaper and Sounds.
Furthermore, how to set the wallpaper in dark mode on Android version 10 or higher, users can turn on dark mode from the device settings.
Unlike Android version 9 or lower, you can choose WhatsApp Settings, Chat, then Themes. On iOS, turn on dark mode from the device settings, then select WhatsApp Settings, Chat, then Wallpaper Chat.
In addition, users can now search and find stickers easily via text or emojis. You do this by browsing the General Sticker category.
When launching this feature, WhatsApp invited sticker makers in the application to mark their stickers with emojis and text to make it easier for users to find them.
The app with the phone’s logo also includes a “Together at Home” sticker pack from the World Health Organization (WHO). The package is now available in an animated version, making communicating online even more expressive.
The “Together at Home” sticker is one of the most popular stickers on WhatsApp and is available in ten languages, including English, Arabic, Indonesian, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.
