WhatsApp started to develop a new set of features to accommodate the needs of its users. One of them is the money transfer feature that was tested in India and Brazil.
WhatsApp introduced a payment feature through the chat column last August to make it easier for users to make transactions called WhatsApp Payments. The Facebook subsidiary also provides promos in the form of cashback.
The WhatsApp Payments feature is offered by this instant messaging app as a safe and easy way to send money. The feature is reportedly present for users in India and Brazil who are already using WhatsApp beta version 2.21.17 for Android, as reported by WABetaInfo.
In addition, WhatsApp is also currently reportedly developing a feature cashback to complete the payment feature. Cashback this is rumored to be entered into the user’s cellphone 48 hours after the transaction via WhatsApp Payments.
