JAKARTA – WhatsApp reportedly working on the status feature “last seen” or “Last seen” on its service can be hidden specifically by users from some people in their contacts.
The service has been being piloted on Android for the past few months and is now in the beta stage.
Quoting GSM Arena, Friday, if the beta program is declared successful, soon everyone who uses WhatsApp on their Android will be able to use the new feature.

However, it is uncertain when the feature will be officially launched considering WhatsApp is very careful when adding a feature to its service.
WhatsApp will only provide additional features when the feature is considered very stable.
As for later there will be four choices of who can see your “last seen” status, starting from “everyone/everyone”, “My Contact/my contacts”, then there is the option of “My Contact Except/my contacts except…”, and “Nobody”.
Of course when you hide your “last seen” status on WhatsApp for a particular contact, then you can’t see the “last seen” status of the contact in question.
