jpnn.com – WhatsApp is rumored to be sharing the ‘mute’ feature forever, not just a few moments like now.
The Neowins and Phone Arena pages quoted say that this feature will be present on WhatsApp to replace the one year period, which is the longest timeframe for an IM app mute feature.
This feature will be available if the user has updated the WhatsApp application to the latest version.
However, while monitoring, there is currently no WhatsApp update available for the Android version.
To disable chatting on WhatsApp, open a chat window and open the three-dot menu at the top right.
Select mute or mute and tap the option Always or Forever.
If muted forever, chat notifications will not activate automatically when the time limit expires.
According to the Phone Arena page, the new mute feature is forever valid for private and group chats.
