New York (EFE).- The latest version of the WhatsApp messaging platform allows you to send higher-quality high-definition (HD) images.
“Sharing photos on WhatsApp just got an update. Now you can send them in HD, ”the executive director of Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp parent company), Mark Zuckerberg, announced on his social networks on Thursday.
The function is already available in the United States and will be implemented worldwide in the coming weeks for both its Android, iOS and web versions.
Now, when sending a snapshot, users will have the possibility to choose the HD option, since they will be able to choose between sending the photo by standard quality (1600 x 1052 pixel resolution) and HD quality (4096 x 2692 pixel resolution).
Although the default stream will always be standard quality.
On the other hand, the person who receives a high resolution image will know it by the letters “HD” that will appear in the lower left corner of the minimized image.
It joins other WhatsApp news in 2023
Just in April WhatsApp announced an improvement in the multi-device function by introducing the possibility that a user can log in with the same account on several mobile phones.
The maximum is four devices, but now users can choose between them two, three or four mobiles.
