Friday, October 4th: It’s almost that time again: Whatsapp excludes an operating system that is too old. In this case we are talking about iOS versions before 14.1. You must have this on your iPhone from February 24, 2025 in order to continue to use Messenger. This will not be possible, especially with the 5s, 6 and 6 Plus devices. Tuesday, September 10th: Messenger is discontinuing its Electron-based app for macOS. The messenger announced this a year ago. Now the command to send it directly is given by clicking on the meme. Wednesday, August 28th: Users who have downloaded and installed version 2.24.17.16 can now also talk to the Meta AI chatbot. Previously, communication was only possible via chat messages. New feature discovered
Friday, August 9th: Soon all messenger users will have the opportunity to have messages automatically translated. So far this is only possible with the beta version of Android. Users select the desired translation language and WhatsApp downloads the required language packs. When the translation is finished, a notification will appear in the message box.
