Whatsapp may soon introduce a feature that converts voice messages to text. Fans of voice messages could then continue to record them, but haters would no longer have to listen to them.
That’s what it’s about

A new update has been announced for the beta version of Whatsapp.

This should include a function that converts voice messages to text.

It’s not yet clear when the feature will be available to everyone.
Some love them, others hate them – Whatsapp voice messages divide minds. A new function of Whatsapp could now make both supporters and opponents happy. A new software is to convert the spoken messages into text – so you can continue to record voice messages, but you no longer have to listen to them.
The function was discovered by the news portal “WABeta-Info” in the beta version of the new update. “This is the best news of the week,” says the portal. It is still unclear when the function will be introduced. It is also not yet known how well it actually works – especially when it comes to Swiss German.
Whatsapp plans further updates
There should also be updates for the status on Whatsapp: It should be possible to select specific people who can see a status, similar to the Close Friends story on Instagram. In addition, it should be possible to put a voice message in the status. Also similar to Instagram, new reactions to a status should also be introduced.
Furthermore, it should soon be possible to share up to 100 media at once instead of 30 as is the case now. Next, pre-scheduled calls in group chats are being developed and Whatsapp developers are working on a feature to send high-quality images.
