JawaPos.com – Meta’s messaging application, WhatsApp, is known to be preparing a new feature, namely listening to music or watching videos together when making a video call. Quoted from the Times of India on Thursday (21/12), the feature is said to be called listen to video and music audio together, aka listening to video and music audio together.
As the name suggests, this feature allows everyone in a video call session to watch video as well as listen to music audio when someone shares their screen.
Not only music, any audio played on a device with the screen sharing option activated can be heard by other people in the video call session. If the leak is accurate, it will be a significant update to the screen sharing feature on WhatsApp.

The reason is that since it was released last September, the screen sharing feature can only share screen visuals without sound or audio. So actually now users can share videos on cellphones via the screen sharing feature. However, the downside is that the audio of the shared video is muted.
Reporting from Sammy News, video calls on WhatsApp will become more like video calls on the Zoom platform. On Zoom, a video sharing feature like this has been around for a long time. With this new feature, users can watch videos and listen to the audio when someone uses the screen sharing feature.
A simple example, users can watch goods or watch the latest music video parties from their favorite bands while on a WhatsApp video call. This feature is said to only be available when the user makes a video call with the camera option active, it does not apply if the camera is turned off and audio calls.
