WhatsApp: New download feature reaches first beta users

Do you often send files via WhatsApp and wonder how long the process will take? As WABetaInfo.com reported, a new feature provides the answer to this question. With the beta version 2.22.8.11 for Android, 22.8.0.74 for iOS and 2.2209.3 for desktop, the developers are introducing a new display that provides information about the remaining time when files are sent or received.-

The fresh feature is particularly useful for larger files, particularly for beta users in Argentina, who are currently testing the ability to send files up to 2 gigabytes (GB) in size. As is customary, WhatsApp is gradually rolling out the new feature to the testers in the beta channel. It may be a few days or weeks before it reaches all users of the beta program. It is unclear when the display for the remaining time when sharing files will officially be introduced in WhatsApp.
