Although you can add a few emotions to your messages with emojis, the little pictures are not always enough. Animated GIFs are also very popular and are meant to lift the mood in the chat. From now on you can use WhatsApp (App Store-Link) also send stickers from Giphy. WhatsApp is introducing the following new options:
- Searchable Giphy Stickers: WhatsApp has partnered with Giphy to integrate an extensive collection of stickers directly into the app. You can search for relevant stickers directly in WhatsApp without having to leave the app.
- Custom Sticker Maker: While the ability to create your own stickers has been available on iOS for some time, support is now being rolled out for Android as well. This means you can create your own stickers from photos on an Android smartphone or edit existing ones using editing tools.
- AI Sticker: With Meta AI you can create individual stickers, but for now only in the USA.
- Organize stickers: WhatsApp offers new sticker packs and now allows for better sorting. To organize the sticker tray, you can tap and hold stickers to move them up or down or delete them.
To use the new features, make sure you have the latest app version of WhatsApp Messenger installed.
