A major update with version number 2.24.15.78 is now available for download in the Google Play Store for the WhatsApp Messenger for Android of the instant messaging service of the same name. With the new version, you can now create and send events in groups. Tap the plus button and select Event to get started. There are also the usual bug fixes and improvements to make the app more reliable. The update requires a device running Android 5.0 and above and is available to download now from the Google Play Store, otherwise you will be notified when it is available for your device.
