A new feature has just been released by WhatsApp in its latest version! After the launch of the functionality to hide the “online” in the application, the messenger now available the option to create polls within conversations. With this, it will be possible to send them in batches, which should make the decision-making process much easier.

Polls can be named and furthermore, users still have the option to choose up to 12 answer options. Once you’ve created your voting method, share it with your contacts and see what everyone’s response will be. It is worth mentioning that the feature is already available in the latest WhatsApp update, so you must have updated your application on the Play Store or App Store to check out what’s new.
How to create a poll on WhatsApp
As mentioned above, the app has to go through a update for the user to have access to the function in question. Once this point is solved, just perform the following steps:
- Open WhatsApp;
- Choose the chat or group you want to send the survey to;
- Click the icon next to the toolbar;
- Find and select the “Survey” option.
Then, you’ll need to click through to choose the title of the survey and what question it will ask. Before that, write the answer options that will be given to you and share them with the contacts who should participate in the vote.
Avatars can be created
According to WABetaInfo, the tool is being tested to provide a new feature aimed at creating custom avatars. Users of the Android beta app version 2.22.23.9 can now test the feature.
Soon it will be possible to use avatars as stickers and also as a profile picture. According to platform, the purpose of the messenger is to expand the possibilities of expression beyond emojis, photos and stickers. The update will also bring a new sticker pack which will consist of custom avatars.
Users using the beta version can log in to settings of WhatsApp and look for the “Avatar” category. Since this is a newly released and testing feature, some may find it difficult to generate their own avatars. If the feature is met with praise and improved, it should arrive soon for the usual version of the application.
