You might not know it, but the developers of the WhatsApp Messenger app (v2.21.50, 151 Mo, iOS 10.0) offer a beta program to allow hundreds of users to try out future novelties in preview and thus get feedback. This weekend, version 2.21.60.11 was submitted to Testflight with something new that may appeal to many voicemail worshipers.

Indeed, this new beta allows in particular to change the reading speed of the latter, and thus accelerate long audio.
WhatsApp works on different reading speeds
Yesterday @WABetaInfo has announced that @WhatsApp was working on 3 different playback speeds for voice messages, on WhatsApp for Android.
Today the same screenshots are taken from WhatsApp for iOS.
The feature is under development.More details: https://t.co/jvq4kF2mzF pic.twitter.com/iyWnkCg3Ot

It is our colleagues at WABetaInfo who collects the information: if beta2.21.60.11 is not yet available to everyone on TestFlight, some privileged people have had access to the new features. Among them, it will be possible to change the reading speed of the audio messages to switch them to 1.5x and 2.0x.
This addition will notably make it possible to speed up long messages received. What do you think of this novelty?
