Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg does a satire on the global tech giant Apple. He claimed that WhatsApp is more secure than iMessage.
The satire said in his official Instagram account. In the uploaded photo, it looks like a WhatsApp chat display but with the addition of three bubbles.
Two green and blue bubbles as the display courtesy of iMessage. Meanwhile, the third bubble is similar to a WhatsApp chat with the inscription Private Bubble.

The photo also shows the words that personal chats between devices are protected by end-to-end encryption, a security system that WhatsApp has always been proud of.
“WhatsApp is much more private and secure than iMessage with end-to-end encryption that works on iPhone and Android including group chats,” Zuckerberg wrote in the post.
Zuckerberg also explained WhatsApp’s security features, including end-to-end backup encryption. The two features, according to him, are not owned by Apple’s instant messaging service.

“With WhatsApp, you can also set all new chats to disappear at the touch of a button. And last year we also introduced end-to-end encrypted backups,” explains Zuckerberg. “Where is everything iMessage doesn’t have yet.”
Previously, end-to-end encryption was also a weapon against Telegram boss Pavel Durov, who was the first to hint at WhatsApp. At the time, he said that WhatsApp users’ cell phones had been infiltrated by hackers.
Will Catchart, the head of WhatsApp, denied this claim. Not only that, he also made sure not to use Telegram because it doesn’t have end-to-end encryption.
“I will not use Telegran for personal purposes. Unlike WhatsApp, Telegram does not have end-to-end encryption and there is no way to enable it for groups,” wrote Cathcart.
