As “wabetainfo” reports, Whatsapp is planning to share music via status updates. There will be a new feature in a future update of the app that will add a music button to the character editor. If a user has selected an image or video that they would like to share in their status, they should also be able to add music to it in the future.

This won’t be new to people who regularly use social media channels like Instagram or TikTok. Stored songs can emphasize emotions or certain statements. By tapping the new button, users should soon be able to search for songs or specific artists. Once your favorite music has been found, it can be added to the status.
