This outage is not due to an update crash, according to WABetaInfo.
It is still not clear how many users are affected by this problem and what is causing the current problem.
The company has not yet released any official statement or provided any information about the reasons behind this issue.
The report also said that if someone’s online presence is hidden on the platform, the current configuration is secure and no one can see it when they are online.
In October last year, the messaging platform suffered a global outage including in India that lasted more than two hours.
According to outage monitoring website DownDetector, more than 85 percent of people reported problems while messaging, 11 percent while using the app, and 3 percent while using the site.
