WhatsApp recently updated the ability to “edit” recently sent messages that enable users of the app to edit media captions as well.
What is the media editing feature?
WhatsApp’s new edit media caption feature allows users to fix typos within 15 minutes of sending a message.
To use this feature, users need to install the updated version of the app. Mezzo is available for Android, iOS, and desktop users.
How to edit the media caption on WhatsApp?
Users just have to tap and hold on a recent message with a comment to like a media caption, and users can select the option to edit the caption for the media message they’ve sent from the drop-down menu.
With the new feature, it is possible to edit captions for videos, GIFs, and documents, as long as it is done within 15 minutes of sending the message.
