Facebook services Whatsapp, Messenger and Instagram are again available to users after a short outage. The three Facebook services were not available to users for a short time around 6 p.m. Dutch time. The tech giant has not yet reported anything about a possible cause of the malfunction.
The outage in the Facebook services started around 6 p.m. Dutch time, could be seen at fault reporter AlleStoringen.nl. Tens of thousands of reports came in there on Friday evening.
The outage in the three Facebook services was also felt outside the Netherlands. The international version of AlleStoringen.nl, Downdetector.com, received hundreds of thousands of reports about a malfunction in Instagram, Whatsapp and Messenger.
A little after 19:00 Dutch time, the services were available again.
