TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – The WhatsApp messaging application is reportedly preparing a new feature that users will be able to enjoy on the desktop.
According to WABetaInfo, (24/1/2022), the new WhatsApp beta feature is open to anyone who wants to try it before this new feature is released to the general public.
According to the site, the latest beta version of WhatsApp Desktop replaces the stop button with a new pause button when recording voice notes.
Currently the recording feature enhancement is being shared with Mac users who are enrolled in the beta edition WhatsApp Desktop. In future beta releases, the feature will be more widely available to beta testers.
WhatsApp will create an option to pause and restart voice notes once the beta is out.

Whatsapp did not provide clarification regarding the time needed to be able to enjoy this new feature. But from the previous launch of new features, Whatsapp will release new features in a matter of days after completing its beta version.

‘Previously, Whatsapp also tested a new feature in the iPhone app that lets you listen to audio messages while multitasking in another chat thread.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp recently rolled out an in-app help option that was briefly piloted last year.

Users will be able to get help via chat with the account WhatsApp verified, which is currently in beta testing. The feature was found in beta WhatsApp recently for iOS and Android, and will likely roll out to users at a later date.
reportedly, WhatsApp also currently testing a new animation for the heart emoji to complement the red heart animated emoticon in beta WhatsApp currently 22.2.72 for iOS users.
