Techno live – Whatsapp introduced characteristic new tool that allows you to undo a very embarrassing step in a group chat. The popular messaging app allows users to undo the “Delete for me” option if they accidentally delete a message for themselves, when they want to delete it for someone else.
The new feature is called “accidental delete” and allows users to flip the “delete for me” button in just five seconds.
Launched from the Gizmodo page on Wednesday, December 22, 2022, according to WABetaInfo, this tool will allow users to delete messages for their entire chat, both individual messages and in group chats.
For example if you type something embarrassing and want to erase it from everyone’s memory. But in the rush to delete them, users sometimes accidentally click “Delete for me” instead of “Delete for everyone”.
Therefore, the message will disappear from the user’s view, but will remain in other people’s messages and potentially become the object of ridicule.
The accidental delete feature will help users avoid the embarrassment that comes with messing up group chat settings by giving them a short window to undo their mistake.
