WhatsApp news doesn’t seem to be slowing down and is constantly being revealed and tested. This messaging service has accelerated the rate at which its developers release improvements and news to users.
The most recent was long overdue and makes life much easier for users. It is geared towards voicemail messages and brings features that many wanted and expected. Finally, there are improvements in voicemail messages.
Besides text messages, WhatsApp has a very wide and active use in voice messages. Users prefer to dictate their messages and thus avoid writing long texts that are often not even read.
Thus, voice messages appear as an alternative, which until recently did not guarantee a good user experience. The biggest flaw was even being able to listen to these messages and decide if they wanted to send them or just delete them.
With the latest beta of the WhatsApp app for Android, everything changes and there is news on several important points. The first is in the message recording interface itself, something we are used to using with no great quality or options present.
Soon the presence of voice waves is visible which adapt to our speech and show where we have spoken, louder or lower. Everything is visible both to the person who records the messages and to the person who receives them.
The second novelty, and it is even the most important, is the possibility of listening to recorded messages before they are sent. The interface is more complete and with more options available for the user. They can check the recording and its playback before being sent.
With dedicated and clearly visible buttons, the user just has to choose what he wants to do after recording his message. The play button is immediately visible so that the message can be heard before it is sent. The whole process goes the normal way and you know it on WhatsApp.
For now, everything still seems to be limited to the trial versions of WhatsApp. We hope, as always, that the novelty will soon be extended to all the systems where it is present. This novelty, curiously, has already been tested on the desktop version of WhatsApp for a few days.
