For a long time, there was a limit of 256 people to join a WhatsApp group. While this is good enough for a group of family and friends, it becomes limited for people working in an organization or for larger groups.
So WhatsApp recently increased the number of group members to 512. However, according to a recent report by WABetaInfo, that number will increase again. WhatsApp will launch an update that will allow group members to reach up to 1,024 people.
Unfortunately, that feature is limited for now, for beta users only. In addition, the feature has also been implemented for some members of the beta version. Later, if it has passed the beta test, the feature will be rolled out more broadly for Android and iOS users.
