It’s been a while since WhatsApp improved the voice calling experience in its app. The new beta release indicates that the company is planning a revamped user interface for future updates.

What’s interesting is that the app recently launched a visual waveform for voicemail and is now planning to bring a real-time audio waveform for calls as well. Using it, you will be able to find out exactly who is speaking or who should not have the microphone turned on.
