WhatsApp has released a new stable update for iOS users. According to WABetaInfo, the update is available on Apple’s App Store and users can download it to their iPhones. But does it come with any new features? It turns out that the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS has several new features, including Status Reactions, a feature that has been extensively developed. Here are all the new features of the latest WhatsApp for iOS.
WhatsApp functionality for iOS v22.21.75: Status reactions
WhatsApp for iOS v22.21.75 is available on the App Store. Those using older versions of the app can go to the App Store and update WhatsApp to get all the new features in the update. The main highlight of this update is the Status Reactions feature, which allows users to react to status updates posted by others, using emojis. Remember how Instagram allows users to reply to the stories of others by swiping up and selecting an emoji from the eight available options? The WhatsApp Status Reactions feature looks identical.
The update also includes the creation of links for calls and improved administrative control
The new version contains the option to create and share a link for WhatsApp calls from the Calls tab. Since many people use WhatsApp professionally, the feature will be useful for organizing WhatsApp calls and inviting people to the call. In the past, users have complained that they mistakenly pressed “delete for me” and were unable to retrieve the message. Well, WhatsApp solved the problem with the new iOS update because the latest version has a feature that allows users to undo “delete for me” for a few seconds.
WhatsApp for iOS v22.21.75 also includes a feature where only admins will be notified when someone leaves a group. Recall that the platform has been working on this feature for some time. Another feature that allows group admins to delete each other’s messages for everyone so that all attendees can see who deleted them. The feature will allow administrators to better address hate speech or inappropriate comments made in the group. It is important to remember that while WhatsApp is rolling out these features for iOS users, it may take some time for them to get them all. Unfortunately, it is not known when these features will be available for Android users.
