As for Telegram, it jumped to the top in US iPhone download data, according to Sensor Tower.
“Millions of new users have joined Signal today and our messaging and calling features are active. But some people don’t see all of their friends’ contacts showing up on Signal. We’re working hard to fix this,” Signal said via Twitter.
Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp were down for approximately six hours. This has an impact on its 2.7 billion service users spread across the globe.
