WhatsApp develops a feature for choosing the quality of sending photos

WhatsApp is reportedly developing a feature for setting the quality of sending photos and videos in their application.

WhatsApp is rumored to be working on a new feature for its users. This time, they are preparing a feature where users will be able to send photos with the quality they want.

As is known, so far when using the WhatsApp service, both photo and video files sent via messages to individuals or groups as well as on WhatsApp status will be compressed automatically.

However, not a few users of the platform want a controller for the images they send. In the near future, beta testers may be able to discover the image option submission feature.

There will be three image qualities that the user can choose from. Engadget (11/7) reports that they can manage the images sent using “best quality”, “data saver”, or “auto”.

As is known, WhatsApp intentionally compresses images and videos sent to save data usage for both the recipient and the sender. Because, most users use cellular data to use the application.

The development of this feature is also called not only done on Android. However, they are also working on the same feature on iOS. Unfortunately, it is still unknown when this feature will be available soon.
