Springtime is wedding time! If you can’t congratulate the bride and groom in person, send your good wishes by letter or smartphone. These are the best digital wedding greetings.
The spring months are particularly popular for getting married. However, other people’s wedding plans don’t always fit into your own schedule. Thanks to WhatsApp, congratulations still reach the newlyweds.
For romantics:
A wedding is considered the crowning glory of two people’s love. The greeting message should be just as romantic. A few ideas:
- “Individually we are words, together we are a poem.”
- “Love is the only thing that doubles when you share it.”
- “Love does not see with the eyes but with the heart.”
- “Happy only is the soul that loves.”
For poets:
Expressing your feelings in verse used to be common practice and is still popular today. The following rhymes celebrate the most beautiful day in a couple’s life:
- “To go through the world together,
is nicer than standing alone.
And to give oneself the word,
is probably the most beautiful thing in life.” - “You loved each other from the beginning,
Now you are bride and groom!
The dream wedding has a face:
There is no more beautiful bride and groom!” - “Always be guided by love,
you should in good times and in bad,
always stand together faithfully
and go through life like that.” - “When two hearts beat for each other,
then they should say yes to each other.” - “The ring on the finger is very small,
but he shows: Love should last forever.” - “The most beautiful thing here on earth,
is to love and be loved.”
For those with a sense of humor:
Being able to laugh together is an important prerequisite for a happy marriage. These not entirely serious sayings help to achieve this. But be careful: only send them to couples with a sense of irony!
- “We warmly congratulate you on your marriage and wish you all a happy, grey and old age together!”
- “People do the craziest things for love. Some even get married.”
- “Congratulations! You are now the wearer of the smallest handcuffs in the world!”
- “You only know what happiness is when you get married. And then it’s too late.”
