WhatsApp Coming Soon New Look for Group Calls

JAKARTA – Meta brings an update to its messaging app, WhatsApp. This change will focus on voice calls for better accessibility for users, especially group calls.

The new look is coming from beta and will soon bring accessibility for all users to enjoy, this is useful in providing information about group members in calls.

According to a WABetaInfo report, a new feature of WhatsApp is being tested for calls, both on iOS and Android, showing who is speaking in a group call with a waveform, in addition to the three options available if you want to mute, end the call, or use the loudspeaker.

Over the years, when making calls on iOS and Android have hardly seen any improvement since the first version arrived.

Thanks to audio waveforms when someone speaks, WhatsApp has a modern design that simply shows how many updates the call screen needs on iOS and Android, especially for group calls.

This new look comes as more and more users choose to call from WhatsApp to Skype, especially with group calls, which is why an interface update for WhatsApp is coming soon.

For your information, the company has been working on improvements across apps over the past year, such as multi-device support, a desktop app for Windows 11, and more to better rival other messaging apps. Thus quoted from TechRadar, Tuesday, February 22.
