The Verge discovered a today web version from the sticker maker. There you can see how you can add images, text and other printing to your own images.
In the web app, the editor is hidden under the ‘Attach’ screen. You’ll find the sticker maker under there – you guessed it – ‘Stickers’.
The feature was released in the latest beta version of WhatsApp found it by Mukul Sharma who regularly searches apps for new additions. On his twitter account, he shows a screenshot of a ‘Create’ button in the sticker menu of WhatsApp.

It seems that smartphone owners can upload their own images via this button. They can then send it as a sticker to their contacts. The feature is expected to roll out to iOS and Android in the coming weeks.
It has been possible for some time to make stickers for WhatsApp via external apps. However, the company did not yet have its own editor.
