The WhatsApp Channel feature has the same function as the WhatsApp Group Chat. However, the WhatsApp Channel is a one-way communication forum between individuals and their followers.

Account holders on the WhatsApp Channel can send text, photos, videos, links and documents. Meanwhile, followers who are already members can only view it without being able to comment.

Users can also see content uploaded by the Channel in the last 30 days in chronological order.

This is an optional feature and separate from the user’s private conversations. Users are also free to follow any channels they like.
