Messaging service WhatsApp has a ‘last seen’ status feature. There is a new feature that manages to hide last seen.
With this last seen feature, we can know when the contact last opened WhatsApp. This feature can also be disabled by the user. But most recently, this feature can be set by anyone who can see the last seen status.
Reported detikINET from GSM Arena, WhatsApp beta version on Android has an option to hide last seen status from certain people.
Previously users could be able to set their last seen status to be seen by ‘everyone’, ‘My contacts’ and ‘None’. But the latest is the option ‘My contacts except…’.

And just like before, after you’ve determined who doesn’t want to see their last seen status, then you won’t be able to see their last seen status either.
This feature has been in active development for several months and is now live for some of those involved in the testing program. This means the feature will soon be available to all users using the beta version of WhatsApp.
Unfortunately, it is not known when this feature will be officially launched for the application WhatsApp main. Because WhatsApp is one of the most careful companies in adding new features to its main application.
