JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Starting today, Tuesday (24/10/2023), WhatsApp will block access to a number of Android cellphones and iPhones.
Cellphones that cannot use WhatsApp as of October 24 are generally cellphones running old operating systems, which do not comply with the minimum specifications set by the application.
It is known that WhatsApp routinely issues policies to stop supporting its services on a number of cellphones, especially cellphones with older operating systems.

This policy was taken because cellphones with older operating systems may not have the latest security updates and other functionality needed to run the Whatsapp application optimally.

Android cellphones with the Android 5.0 operating system and newer iPhones with the iOS 12 operating system and newer
