TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Messaging app WhatsApp recently launched an update for Android devices that adds a lot of features to the device, such as Avatars and expanded media sharing limits.
Now, WhatsApp announced that they are adding picture-in-picture (PiP) support for iOS video calls. This feature will allow users to make and receive calls while still being able to perform other tasks on their phones at the same time, as reported by Gizmochina, February 20, 2023.
PiP mode allows users to watch videos in a smaller window while continuing to use their device in other ways. For example, if you are watching an online tutorial or talking to someone via WhatsApp video call, you can continue to work on email or browse social media without interrupting your call session.
The PiP window can also be moved and resized according to the user’s needs so that it doesn’t interfere with whatever is being done at the time.
iOS users can update their app to the latest V23.3.77 to enjoy these features. This new WhatsApp update makes multitasking during video calls much easier than before; users no longer have to choose between keeping in touch with friends and family via voice/video chat and getting work done!
This is also great news for people who often have multiple conversations at once – because of the new PiP functionality, they will be able to switch back and forth between conversations more easily!
Not only that, the latest version now supports adding text to documents as well as longer subjects and descriptions to better express what your group chats are about.
All in all, this is an excellent addon for Whatsapp which will dramatically improve the user experience while making video calls.
