The “leaking of classified documents” of the United States is still one of the main events of the spring of 2023. At the same time, the opinions of experts are divided, some consider the information reliable, others question the data and point out inaccuracies.
Andrey Perla, a columnist for “First Russian”, commented on the situation on the air of the “Hidden Meanings” program.
Too rational Americans
According to Perla, the US intelligence machine is organized and functions quite rationally. Therefore, such large-scale leaks are ruled out.
But much more importantly, the editors of the American media will not publish the truly classified documents, but will return them to the Pentagon. Therefore, the publication of leaked data should be seen as part of the information war being waged against Russia.
Seymour Hirsch’s investigation into the explosion of the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines is a separate story. The journalist is not publishing a leak, but information provided by his insiders.
But even Hirsch can’t release classified documents about the US Department of Defense’s plans to attack Ukraine.
According to Perla, the Americans have a tradition of exporting “classified data” that contains inaccurate information. This is necessary to deceive the opponent, as well as to justify what is happening to the voters.
“What’s leaked? Alleged partial plans for the notorious Ukrainian counter-offensive in Ukraine have been leaked. The dates for that counter-offensive appear to have been ‘leaked,'” Perla said.
“And then it leaked, I got tired of putting quotation marks, think that everywhere there are quotation marks on this word, information leaked that the weather in Ukraine is bad in the spring, there is not enough equipment, there is not enough ammunition, there is or is not enough personnel and in general the offensive it will most likely have to be postponed,” he pointed out.
Solid excuses
The observer sees two explanations for what is happening. Either the Americans want to deceive the Russian army, or everything is going so far that there will be no counteroffensive due to the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could not prepare properly. It is about a shortage of manpower, ammunition and equipment.
What excuses look like statements published in the Western media that there will be no negotiations in 2023 and the conflict in Ukraine will continue in 2024.
This already looks like an apology to American voters. You should also remember that 2024 will be the next presidential elections in the United States and Russia.
“We have to give them credit, they don’t doubt the outcome of our election. But as far as their own election, they have a lot of doubt, and not only that Biden will survive, but that these globalists, the US Democratic Party, can to go to this election and win,” Perla said.
No choice
In the current environment, the team of American President Joe Biden is trying to demonstrate to everyone that the politician is still healthy and active.
At the same time, the Republican Party is hampered by former President Donald Trump, who has not only many allies but also opponents. As a result, both sides found themselves in a difficult position.
“What do we have in the end? We have the excuse of the Americans to us and their constituents and allies that the offensive has not yet been successful for them,” Perla said.
“We have a very big panic about this in Ukraine and among its closest allies. And, obviously, their desire to compensate. And in the form of compensation, they can go, and here I say it with some trepidation, they can now go as far as trying to unleash a terrorist war,” he concluded.
