According to Karyling Barranco, a specialist in real estate law, horizontal property is a type of housing and business centers that has been strengthening and contributing to the urban development of Valledupar, increasingly increasing its preference and which is expected to continue in the future. It is located as one of the main forms of housing in the city.
“The idea is to make visible an issue that is of absolute interest to the communities subject to the horizontal property regime and that is increasingly gaining importance, not only in Valledupar but at the national level. It is increasingly necessary to know the horizontal property regime and the rules related to it, since by choosing this style of cities, we accept submission to a special legal regime, in which “exclusive” property rights occur, with limitations. express rights and co-ownership rights with respect to the common areas that make up the complex, building, business or commercial center.”he explained.
Another interest that horizontal property seeks is to awaken the interest and active participation of the National Government in this type of communities subject to a special regime, generating new opportunities that are a fundamental point of accompaniment and support of the State, and its entities. control and administration.
