What will happen to my HBO Max subscription after the arrival of Max?

What is going to happen to my HBO Max subscription?

Current HBO Max subscribers, both those who have subscribed directly to the platform and those who subscribe through a third party that markets subscriptions to the platform, will have access to Max from the day it launches.

Existing subscribers will retain the price and features of their current plan for a limited time following the launch of Max. Those who have subscribed directly to HBO Max and have the 50% introductory offer, billed through HBO Max, will retain the discount as long as they comply with the terms and conditions of that promotion.

How will my profile look on Max?

HBO Max subscribers will be able to discover this new experience by maintaining their current profiles, settings and browsing history, continuing their Max journey exactly where they left off.

In some cases, depending on the device or operating system, the HBO Max app will automatically update on February 27.

In other cases, when users open their HBO Max app, they will be directed directly to downloading the new Max app, in a simple process that will quickly allow them to start enjoying the platform experience.

Additional details about Max’s streaming experience will be released in the coming weeks.

What are Max’s prices and packages?

It should be noted that in this new stage of the company there will be packages with ads and in the case of Full HD resolution, 4K Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos sound, they may not be available in all the content of each plan.

Additionally, live content on Standard and Platinum plans may contain ads, while downloads may include restrictions on some content.

The basic plan will cost 149 pesos per month and in the annual plan the price would be 1,170 pesos. While the Standard has a cost of 199 pesos per month and 1,779 per year and in the case of Platinum the price will be 249 pesos per month and 2,379 pesos per year.
