What will be the agenda of the Mumbai meeting of INDIA alliance? Farooq Abdullah told

Mumbai. National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah said on Wednesday that the most important issue on the agenda of the ‘India’ meeting of the opposition parties in Mumbai will be how to win the 2024 elections and on which issues the elections will be fought.

The former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, who is in Mumbai to attend the meeting of the opposition alliance, told reporters that a final blueprint has to be drawn up to take on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that by September 1, it should be clear who will be the convenor of ‘India’ or whether a convenor is needed in the first place.

Farooq told that the Panthers Party from Jammu will also participate in the alliance meeting here on August 31 and September 1. He said, ‘The most important agenda will be how to win the election, what will be our main issue on which we will contest the election. There will also be a discussion on how to save the Constitution, how to save the feeling of brotherhood in the country and how to remove the rift created on religious grounds.

However, he avoided the question of whether or not seat-sharing would be discussed among the constituents in this meeting of the India Alliance. On the other hand, when asked about the decision of the Center to cut the price of LPG cylinder by Rs 200, Abdullah said that the price should be reduced further.
