Texas, like the entire United States, celebrates Veterans Day today,
a day in which all those who have served in the Armed Forces are honored. As it is a federal holiday, several offices and services will close their doors.
However, This rule will not apply to all establishments in the Lone Star Stategiven that several places will have their doors open normally (or during reduced hours). Check out which sites will be available amidst the celebrations.
Establishments closed in Texas on Veterans Day
As with every federal holiday, many institutions will remain closed in Texas. Post offices, including United States Postal Service (USPS) branches, are not operating on November 11, so no shipments or packages will be delivered.

Banks are also closed in observance of Veterans Dayincluding large entities such as Chase and Bank of America. However, ATMs and online services will be available for customers who need to perform basic banking transactions.
