Dominique D. 46 years old has been in police custody for 24 hours in the premises of the DGSI, the General Directorate of Internal Security in Levallois-Perret in the Hauts-de-Seine. This municipal agent of the city of Montauban is suspected of calls to violence and terrorist criminal association.
Two days after his arrest in Montauban, Dominique D. is still being heard by investigators from the DGSI. He was transferred Wednesday, November 17, 2021 to the premises of Levallois-Perret. The man is suspected of belonging to the ultra-right movement and targeted by an investigation by the anti-terrorism prosecution.
Along with another “white supremacist” activist, he is suspected in particular of having called for violent actions on the encrypted messaging application Telegram.
Dominique D. 46 years old is a municipal agent at the town hall of Montauban. He is part of the team in charge of the city’s green spaces and has lived alone since his divorce.
Qualified by his lawyer as “passionate about his work”, Dominique D. is also described as someone very lonely, who does not relate much and who has difficulty expressing his emotions.
According to sources close to the investigation, the man is a follower of survivalism. Passionate about weapons, he would be convinced by ultra-straight theses such as “ethnic replacement”.
During a search of his home, several weapons were seized. Also according to sources close to the investigation, the man would be suspected of being the administrator of a Telegram channel called “To Hell” and closed since.
The channel relayed calls to commit targeted assassinations against foreigners, of Jewish or Muslim faith, or against economic elites such as certain business owners, considered “traitors” to white people.
According to his lawyer, Me Séverine Lheureux, Dominique D. is overwhelmed by events.
My client is not a delinquent. He is very overwhelmed by what is happening to him. He saw the confinement and the interrogations with great anguish, but he was determined to cooperate.

Still according to his lawyer, the man, very discreet in life, would not have taken the measure of his publications on the Telegram messaging and would in no case intend to “take action”.
As permitted by law on anti-terrorism investigations, his custody should be extended. The man should then be brought before an examining magistrate before an indictment.
