A few days ago, the United States government reported that its borders will be open after the covid-19 pandemic provoke restrictions that ranged from long quarantines until covid-19 tests are done to enter the country; however, now you will have to have a certificate with certain vaccines to enter.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a person is fully vaccinated after two weeks since you received your second dose (or your first, if it is a single dose).
Millions of people in the world have received vaccines that are not endorsed by the United States nor from the World Health Organization (WHO) as is Sputnik or Cansino.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the vaccines that are accepted for entry into the United States are:

- Modern
- AstraZeneca
- Sinovac (CoronaVac)
- Sinopharm
- Covishield
- Covaxin
Why are they not accepting covid vaccines in the US?
One of the problems that some Latin American countries have is that they were vaccinated with immunizations such as CanSino and Sputnik V, which are not yet approved by the World Health Organization, as the PAHO deputy director considered a few days ago that it is discriminatory to apply policies like this.
Both Sputnik V and Cansino have not been approved by the World Health Organization because so far they have not shown in pairs, that is, in scientific journals, that Phase 3 vaccines have some efficacy.
In the case of the CanSino vaccine, they mentioned that the studies had already been sent to a scientific journal for peer review, but that so far due to the timing of these publications they have not come to light.
