What to watch this week in NBA: Triple serving of Warriors and last group stage games

The NBA is heating up in December, and it’s not just because of the playoffs. The first signature month of the NBA is here, full of exciting matchups and serious contenders making their move.

The stage is set for the in-season tournament finish and the traditional Can’t-Miss-TV Christmas Day slate.

This week boasts some thrilling matches:

  • The Magic vs. Knicks: Not only are the Orlando Magic and New York Knicks both in this week’s NBA Cup stakes, but they each bring explosive offense and stifling defense. The Magic, surprising many this season and sitting third in the East thanks to their atrocious defense, will meet a familiar foe in the East-leading Knicks, who are starting to heat up offensively.

  • Warriors Doubleheader: Golden State is in the spotlight [twice]this Week. They first meet the Denver Nuggets, newest MVP contender Nikola Jokic,

in a Finals preview.
