After presenting our detailed test of the new S-Klasse yesterday, now it’s time to take a look at its most powerful version, the S63, as well as the expected hybrid S73e AMG. Like the new AMG GT73e 4-Door Coupe, the hybrid S-Klasse is expected to generate over 800 horsepower thanks to a 4.0-liter eight and electric motor in the rear, and maximum torque to reach 1000 Newton meters. Acceleration from 0 to 100km / h will probably be slower than that of the AMG GT, which is exactly 3 seconds, but the limousine is unlikely to exceed the limit of 4 seconds.

According to rumors, the classic S63 AMG will also rely on hybrid drive, with differences in the electric motor, and the expected maximum power here is about 700 horsepower. Both models will rely on the well-known 9-speed automatic transmission, which will undergo some changes from the AMG division to get the most out of it.

There are also expected to be changes in appearance, although AMG Line performances show what the sports sedan will look like. Still, we expect bigger holes in the front bumper, wheels with a different design and of course bigger brakes. The suspension will also undergo some changes, and in the interior we will most likely see a different steering wheel and some carbon options for the dashboard and doors. The models are expected to debut by the end of this year and be available for purchase from the beginning of next year.
