Lyon Comic Strip Festival @ City Hall & Trinity Chapel
We start the weekend on a good note with the Lyon BD Festival. All comic book fanatics will be able to have a blast! We give you an appointment in the center at the Town Hall and at the Chapel of the Trinity from June 10th to 12th. On the program: all favorite comic book votes, dedications, workshops, conferences, exhibitions and discoveries. And for those who don’t have time this weekend, don’t panic, the festival continues off throughout the month of June.

Summer launch @ Le Sucre
The Sucre rooftop is getting a makeover for the summer and for nothing in the world we’re going to miss it. For three months, the terrace is dressed in a device all in neon lights and metal arches with sofas and coffee tables. And for the occasion, see you there this Friday for an inaugural aperitif! We can discover the new scenography “The Grand Gin Hotel” imagined in collaboration with Hendrick’s, inspired by the incredible universe of Wes Anderson.

Bliss Stories is the first podcast where we tackle the subject of motherhood without any filter through powerful testimonies on pregnancy and childbirth. Festive sale @ La Croix-Rousse
Every year, every second Saturday of the month, the Croix-Rousse district is transformed into a giant jumble sale. All the merchants of the 4th arrondissement are set up in the four corners of the district. On the program: shopping, entertainment and treasure hunts. We meet on the Grande Place de la Croix-Rousse to stroll around the Marché des Créateurs until 10 p.m. La Place des Tapis disguises itself as an open-air cinema for the evening. Le Cours des Tapis welcomes you to share a Banquet des Canuts. Place Joannès Ambre becomes a huge gym with coaching. Place Bertone will be dotted with bouncy castles for children. A day that promises to be very emotional!

La Terrasse ECAM Festival @ ECAM
For this 6th edition, the Festival perched at the top of the hill of Fourvière is making its big comeback on June 11 and 12, and we intend to party! In its high-perched garden, the festival provides house, disco and funk: everything you need to groove, in the open air and with the best view of Lyon (your Parisian friends will be furious). Regarding the line up, it looks promising: P errine, Paula Tape, Leon X Leon, K-Zanova and many other artists will settle in the idyllic garden of the ECAM school.

Hip-Hop Dance Battle @ The Abode of Chaos
Dancers, amateurs or beginners, this long-awaited event is made for you. Originally scheduled for June 2, the Hip-Hop Dance Battle was finally postponed to June 12 due to weather. For our greatest pleasure, professional dancers will show us their talents through hip-hop dance and its different styles. At 3 p.m. an introductory hip-hop class will be open to everyone, it’s now or never to learn the best dance moves. From 4 p.m. the Battle will begin, a professional jury and a Master of Ceremonies will be present to evaluate the dancers and thus award the prizes to the winners. You can also leave with a collector’s poster of the event to keep a nice memory.

Pride Closing x Maxiqueer @ La Commune
Who says weekend of June 11 and 12 says Pride weekend. To end this beautiful period in style, the Commune is in charge of the closing with a very nice program. In collaboration with Maxiqueer, the Lyon queer scene and the pride march are given pride of place. Free entry for all, you will have access to a bingo lunch, children’s workshops, drag workshops and an unusual show. There will of course be the possibility of eating and drinking on site!
