The main classification of the Chinese GP was at 3:00 p.m. local time, when in Spain it was 9:00 a.m., in Mexico it was 1:00 a.m. (in the morning), in Colombia it was 2:00 a.m., and in Venezuela it was 3:00 a.m. :00h or in Argentina 04:00h. This Saturday’s classification was made up of Q1, Q2 and Q3 (three rounds of 18, 15 and 12 minutes respectively), and formed the grid for Sunday’s main race, regardless of the sprint. Q1 in China was contested by the 20 starting drivers, of which 15 moved on to Q2 and then, at the end of Q2, the ten fastest drivers entered Q3.
Q3 in Shanghai did decide the author of the pole position, and there the ten rows and 20 starting positions for Sunday were already defined. We remember that the sprint classification, held on Friday morning, was not counted as pole position.

In Spain, the Chinese GP can only be seen live and legally on DAZN F1. In Latin America, to see the 2024 Chinese GP depends on the country you are in. Star + or ESPN2 are the options in many Latin American countries, but in Argentina to watch the sprint race and classification in China it was necessary to turn on Star + or FOX Sports. For its part, in Mexico, the Chinese GP is seen on Fox Sports México or FOX Sports.

The first sprint race of F1 2024, the Chinese GP, was held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. local time, when it was 5:00 a.m. in Spain and in Mexico it was still Friday (at 9:00 p.m. :00h), while in Panama or Colombia they were at 10:00pm, in Chile or Uruguay at 11:00pm, and in Argentina at 12:00am, right at midnight from Friday to Saturday.
The winner of the sprint race, Max Verstappen, did not have any victories added to his statistics, and only the first eight scored.

Which drivers have pole position in the 2024 F1 Chinese GP?
Of the 17 qualifying sessions held in the history of the F1 Chinese GP, six were pole positions for Lewis Hamilton and four for Sebastian Vettel. The others are divided between two for Fernando Alonso and Nico Rosberg and one for Verstappen (the one for this 2024), Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button
