After months of waiting, the big day has arrived. This April 19, Taylor Swift’s eleventh studio album hits shelves and digital platforms: ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.
This new production will feature a total of 16 songs, including two collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + The Machine, as well as four bonus tracks, distributed in four variants of the album: The Bolter, The Albatross, The Black Dog and The Manuscript. All ‘bonus versions’ will be available on different CDs, with the exception of The Manuscript, which will also be released on vinyl.
Prior to its release, Swift grouped her entire discography into the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance; suggesting a completely nostalgic and emotional album. According to various theories on social networks, this new production will focus on her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn, since the name of the material refers to an old WhatsApp chat of the British actor: ‘Tortured Man Club’ .
What time does ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ premiere, depending on your location?
‘The Tortured Poets Department’ will premiere on digital platforms at midnight Eastern on April 19. However, given the various time zones in the United States, there are those who will be able to listen to it from the night of April 18.
