The Dallas Cowboys will face the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday in an attempt to shake off their 44-19 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.
The defense, which had held the Browns to 17 points in the opening match of the season, was completely outclassed against the SaintsQuarterback Derek Carr finished with 243 yards and two touchdowns, while running back Alvin Kamara racked up 180 total yards and four total touchdowns.
The Cowboys (1-1) will now face another devastating ground game. The Ravens (0-2) feature Lamar Jackson, one of the greatest dual-threat quarterbacks of all time, and Derrick Henry, the former NFL offensive player of the year. Baltimore’s two losses were by six points or less, and in each game its rushing attack topped 150 yards.
Dallas’ offense showed some weaknesses in the loss. Dak Prescott’s connection with Ceedee Lamb remains solid, but Prescott threw two interceptions. The Cowboys’ attempts to run the ball have been in vain so far. Rico Dowdle led the team with 30 yards on seven carries, and the team has yet to surpass 100 yards in a game.
