Directed by Bhadran, Udayon is a film starring Mohanlal in a double role. Mohanlal acted as father and son in the film. The father character played by Mohanlal as Sooranad Kunj got a lot of attention. Earlier, actor Thilakan had said that he was supposed to play the character. Bhadran is replying to Tilak’s allegations.
In an interview to Kanchannel Media, Bhadran said that he had never seen Thilakan as that character even in his dreams and he could not portray the Sooranad baby with the body language that Mohanlal portrayed.
‘Pulli said that is not true, I have never seen Tilakan Chetan as a Shuranad child even in my imagination or dreams. Have you not seen Lal playing the role of Sharanadu Kunja? Thilakan Chet can’t do anything with Lal’s body language and expression. Thilakan Chetan’s body does not have that strength. Because he was sick. So how do you play such a role?
Shuranad Kunj is a very strong person. How would that suit Thilakan Chetan? Would you feel that way if you saw him? The spot will be covered with the tongue. But body language? Thilakan Chetan is not the physique of the Shuranad baby I imagined. I don’t know why it said that.

Mohanlal and Bhadran’s hit film Sphadikam was re-released in theaters with 4K visuals. Aduthoma is getting a good response in its second coming as well. Bhadran also announced a new film with Mohanlal. Bhadran had said that the name of Mohanlal’s character in the film is Jim Kenny and Lal, who has not been seen before, will be seen in the film.
