National team coach Of Russia Marcus Kramer believes that the International Ski Federation (FIS) should punish the Swede Karl Joan Westberg for the words addressed Alexandra Bolshunova.
After the sprint as part of the Tour de Ski, Westberg rudely accused Bolshunov of breaking a stick on the last turn in front of the finish line.
– What the hell, man? – said the Swede to Bolshunov.
Kramer believes that FIS should punish Westberg with a yellow card for such words.
– The Swede should be punished for what he said. Yellow cards can also be given for verbal violations, – quotes the words of Cramer Expressen.
At the same time, FIS flight director Pierre Minier is sure that the Swedish skier has nothing to punish.
Westberg later admitted that he behaved incorrectly after the finish.
– Someone back ran into my stick. I decided that it was Bolshunov, and therefore cursed at him. Words flew off the language automatically. I have to apologize for this, said the Swedish skier.
Recall, Bolshunov takes second place in the general classification of the multi-day Tour de Ski, second only to the Norwegian Johannes Klebo.
