Specialists recommend that every family have an emergency backpack for when they have to leave their home in the event of an earthquake.

The backpack must contain:

1. Water

2. Compact and light, non-perishable foods: cans, dehydrated foods, biscuits, juices, coffee, tea

3. Clothing, footwear

4. Sleeping bag or blankets

5. First aid kit containing personal medicines, analgesics and antiseptics, bandages, anti-scald sprays, antibiotics, paracetamol, aspirin, analgesics, disinfectant for open wounds

6. Radio with spare batteries, flashlight, mobile phone, whistle, multi-function cigarette lighter, cigarette lighter

7. Hygiene items such as toilet paper, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, but also money

8. Copies of identity documents.

The survival kit must be checked at least once a year and renewed with the necessary items.
