What Putin said about Yermak-Rasmussen’s package of recommendations on Ukraine’s security guarantees

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin commented on a package of recommendations from Yermak-Rasmussen on Ukraine’s security guarantees.

The head of the Kremlin said he was unaware of the Ukrainian project on security guarantees.

The head of the Kremlin said in a briefing at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, to write Russian mass media.

“I don’t know what else the Kiev authorities have invented, their position on every issue changes every day,” the Fuhrer replied.

Recall that on September 13 the President’s Office presented a document called “The Kiev Security Treaty” – recommendations on upcoming security guarantees for Ukraine. The document was developed by a group of experts led by Presidential Office Head Andrey Yermak and former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

The point is that Ukraine needs resources to maintain a powerful army capable of resisting the troops and other paramilitary formations of the Russian Federation. Stable long-term investments in Ukraine’s military-industrial complex, arms supplies and assistance from Allied intelligence, joint exercises and intensive training missions under the auspices of the EU and NATO are also needed.

Ukraine’s main security group should include the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Poland, Italy, Germany, France, Australia, Turkey, Northern European countries and Baltic states, Central and Eastern Europe.
